Honest Children

So until today I never realized how honest children really are. James who is now 5 was the most honest I have heard him be. Some of it I cant share with you but I can share the one that happened at the dinner table tonight. I put the bowl of tuna casserole in front of James and he looked at it and then looked at me and said "what is this"? I told him and his comment was "well whatever it is it looks disgusting". I laughed and then asked him why. He said 'I don't know it just does". Well he ate it and asked for seconds so he must have gotten past the look of it. It made me think about how innocent and truthful children really are.

Below are a few more pictures from vacation. After these I will move onto other things....I already have some funny ones to share with you. I will give you a hint...we are working with Matthew on potty training. Yes, my almost 4 year old wants nothing to do with it but my 19 month old is totally into it. Oh well!!

More Camping/Vacation Pictures

Sorry I'm sharing the pictures slowly. Some nights uploading pictures can take a while. It was rainy and cold a few days of our vacation so we had to find things to do. This was not all bad because it gave us the time we needed to rest. One day we took the kids bowling. They had a lot of fun. This was the 1st time for James and Sally and they now ask me everyday "Can we go bowling today??" It is so neat to see them experience new things. We even took them to Red Lobster for dinner one night. This was the 1st time we had taken them to a "fancy" restaurant and they did very well. Sally wanted nothing to do with seafood but James was willing to try anything. His new favorite food is shrimp. Matthew on Sally's Princess bike. On this trip Matthew got a new "boy" bike.

This is Dozer. He belonged to the campground owner and every night at dinner time he made his way around to see who was going to feed him. He was a very nice dog and the kids loved him. Even Sally liked him after a few days.

They loved doing it themselves.

Just a spectator!!

Hanna was not picking her nose at least I don't think she was. HAHA Love ya Hanna!!!

Vacation-Eating Ice Cream

We all had a wonderful time on vacation. The weather was a little wet and cold for a few days but it was fine with me....it was relaxing and just nice not to be home and not working. As you will see below the kids are enjoying ice cream and just so you know they had ice cream at least 10 times in 9 days. Spoiled aren't they!!!
