Some camping fun!!!

Happy Sunday night to everyone. Sorry it took me so long to post Memorial Day pictures. Every time I think life is going to slow down it just gets crazier. Oh well I guess.....we had a lot of fun camping. The kids loved all the new adventures and at night they were exhausted. James turned 5 yesterday......I will share pictures soon. Promise!!! James on his scooter!!!!

Matthew and his ice cream.....ate it all.

The new ride that even hauls the dog. They were the talk of the campground. This will be a must to take on every camping trip.

First time on skates!!

Well we had a very busy weekend. I was in a wedding so Ryan had to be "me" for a day and do all the extra's with the kids. He did a great job. One of the things he got to do was take the kids to a Roller Skating Birthday Party. The kids loved it. As you will see in the pictures Sally was a natural--she took right off on the skates and James was nervous. The wall was his friend. Later that night the 2 older kids joined me at the reception and Ryan went to the races--they were so exhaused that they didnt wake up until 10am sunday. My very dear sister took Matthew for the weekend to make things easier. Thanks Aunt Shell!!!

Happy Mothers Day----this touched my heart!!!!

Before I was a Mom,
I never tripped over toys
or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not> my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.

Before I was a Mom,
I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind
and my thoughts.
I slept all night.

Before I was a Mom,
I never held down a screaming child
so doctors could do tests
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night> watching a baby sleep.

Before I was a Mom,
I never held a sleeping baby just because
I didn't want to put her down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces
when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small
could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.

Before I was a Mom,
I didn't know the feeling of
having my heart outside my body..
I didn't know how special it could feel
to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond
between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small
could make me feel so important and happy.

Before I was a Mom,
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night
every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth,
the joy,
the love,
the heartache,
the wonderment
or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much,

before I was a Mom ...

Love the weather!!!

The kids got outside today even though it was a little chilly and windy. Karmah and Sally had to try out the new Barbie Jeep. Now the kids are having Power Wheel races in the yard. As long as they are happy we are happy!!!
Ryan and I have been garage sale nuts this year. I hated going to garage sales before we had kids but now it is fun.......they think it is christmas in May!! HAHA

Sally and James 1st swimming lesson

Sally and James went to there 1st swimming class today. Last year they were terrified of the water---today they were fish. Ryan and I are happy that they are feeling safe and secure with things and they are now willing to be adventuresome. They both cant wait until next week for there next class. Maybe next time we will enroll Matthew too.

Matthews 1st Icecream Cone

Matthew had his 1st icecream cone last sunday and loved it. When we left the icecream shop he was only in a diaper. He cried when we took it away from him but in the end he was one happy little boy!!!
